The making of a prayer shawl is a spiritual practice which embodies thoughts and prayers for the receiver. It is a gift freely given with no strings attached. Made in prayer, as prayer, for prayer, the shawls are passed on hand-to-hand and heart-to-heart.

A prayer shawl or blanket embraces the recipient with the unconditional love of the Lord. It is a gift reaching out to those in need of comfort and solace as well as in celebration and joy. Prayer squares are given to those going on mission trips, working for social justice. Many blessings are prayed into every item we make.

Our Craft Fair is Returning - December 1 & 2 - Save the Dates

Have you seen the ad in our bulletin these past two weekends? This upcoming fundraiser will be a community effort. I have already been approached by two people asking how they might be able to help. With the knowledge that this is actually going to happen, we have lots of time to prepare. Grab your hooks and needles and take them to the beach with you or wherever you might be vacationing this summer. Whatever you do - remember those dates and think about ways you can contribute. All proceeds will benefit our students and help fund the Alternative Spring Break Trips.

From the moment a soul has the grace to know God, she must seek.
